“What is Christmas Made Of” is the newest CoolSide of Yuletide holiday song written by Francisco J. Núñez and Jim Papoulis to launch the holiday season at Lord & Taylor’s annual window unveiling. The song will be premiered by the Young People’s Chorus of New York City at Lord & Taylor’s Fifth Avenue flagship store Monday, November 14, and once again, YPC has invited almost 40 youth choruses to sing the song simultaneously from Lord & Taylor department stores in nine states. Inviting choruses to sing with them during the yuletide season has become a YPC tradition begun in 2008, resulting in an enduring choral community and three recordings—“How Many Christmases,” “Share the Joy”, and now, “What Is Christmas Made Of.”
The recording of ”What is Christmas Made Of” encompassing the voices of all of these choristers will be available after Monday’s window unveiling on iTunes, along with the previous two CoolSide of Yuletide recordings.
